Isalayam Ashram observed the 66th Jayanthi of His Holiness Jagadguru Swami Isa along with Navaratri in reduced form due to pandemic regulations. The Honourable Minister for Tourism, Kadakampally Surendran, visited the Ashram to wish Swamiji a happy birthday, and spoke to a few who had gathered there, lauding Swamiji’s lifelong commitment to education and service.
Swami Isa delivered an address about the inner significance of Navaratri, the festival in worship of the Divine Mother, which is observed from October 17th to 26th (Vijayadesami). His main message was “Energy is the Mother of the Universe.”
Further, He said that “Motherhood and fatherhood is latent in everyone. Embracing the fullness of undiscriminating and all-embracing love of motherhood would make you realize that everything you experience in the entire world is your pure and sweet children. Don’t limit your love, for that is what makes you suffer.”
“Make purity and share purity,” He concluded.
